Social Media: Running a Successful Blog and the Importance of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

by Ryan Hanley, insurance producer, social media marketer

Turn Blogging into Art

The energy we put into our blog can be felt by the reader.  Go read something online by an author you’ve never read before.  I bet you can tell immediately the level of excitement and enthusiasm that author had for the topic of that article.

Business blogging is boring as hell...

Creating art is exciting...

When you produce an article for your blog which mind set do you think creates a feeling of energy and action in your readers?

“Damn I have to write a blog today or my boss is going to kill me...”

or

Let’s agree the answer is the Creating Art mind set.

I can teach you every Search Engine Optimizatin (SEO,) content marketing and social media trick in the book... but if you think your writing is boring your readers will too.

However... the exact opposite is true as well.  If you’re fired up and passionate about whatever it is your writing about, that energy and enthusiasm is contagious.

Your readers are going feel it and want to do business with you.

...and that means more revenue.

What do you think?
